Our team is made up of a passionate group of individuals who know the dance world inside and out. From past dancers and dance moms to studio owners and teachers. We have taken our collective experience and turned it into the event of the season. Every detail is created with heart, knowledge and the love for creating community through dance.

We bring together dancers, teachers, and families in an environment that is supportive, competitive, healthy and uplifting. We are built on the genuine love for the art. We are all experienced in different versions of the dance word. Seeing all the hard work poured into each individual student, each individual routine, and each individual routine. We have created a space where students can get opportunities to further their dance careers, have the opportunity to make new connections and most importantly feel pride in all their hard work. Meet Racquel
Racquel grew up surrounded by dance, though it was not always something she planned to pursue. With an older sister already in the dance world, she initially wanted nothing to do with it. But at age ten, she was encouraged to give it a try – and everything changed.
Now, years later, Racquel lives and breathes dance. As a teacher, choreographer, and studio owner, she has experienced every side of the industry. Though that journey, she saw the need for something more. A space where dancers can truly flourish, build connections, and feel proud of their hardwork.
With passion at the core of everything she does, Racquel created Start IT Up, to give something back to the community, the dancers, and the teachers. She is only getting started.
